Andrew Grant Wood

Andrew Grant Wood is Rutland Professor of History at the University of Tulsa and author of several books including: The Business of Leisure: Tourism History in Latin America and the Caribbean (University of Nebraska Press, 2020), Agustín Lara: A Cultural Biography (Oxford University Press, 2014) and (with Linda Allegro) Latin American Migrations to the U.S. Heartland (University of Illinois Press, 2013, 2018).  Wood is currently writing a history of colonial Veracruz with portions dedicated to Atlantic World contraband economies and the coastal defense of New Spain.
